Vegan Passions

Vegan!!

I'm vegan, and a newbie (: I've been vegan for 2 weeks.I'm very excited to be turning my life around. I am also a recovering drug addict/alcoholic. I'm now sXe (straight edge) and vegan. I credit my favorite band, afi, with helping me get my sh*t together. I live with my family and It's ruling hard to stick to my vegan diet when the rest of the family is home, because, as non-vegans, they eat non-vegan food for meals...shocker, I know. Anyway, I encourage them to try new things, but the only 2 things I've been successful with are vegan cookies and vegan pasta&sauce. I'm just looking for other vegans to relate to, and to get advice from, I know it sounds funny, but I'm serious. I'm Celia by the way (:
