Peaceful Vegan Seeking New Horizons

Southern-born artist relocating to the Boston, MA area in a few weeks. The short and simple breakdown of me is this... I am: an artist, a writer, a singer, a feminist, a vegan, a lover, a traveler, an activist and a friend. I am polite, but gut-level honest and I expect you to be the same. I may be adamant about certain things, but I'm rarely unmoveable in every position I take. Part of having an open mind is keeping it open! I am NOT: religious, closed-minded, old-fashioned, frigid, egotistical, selfish, rude or bigoted. I believe in: free-thinking, freedom of choice, fair trade, animal rights, human rights, love, peace, healthcare for all, treating this planet like you actually live here and the power of one person's voice. I absolutely DETEST: war-mongering, hate-mongering, homophobia, animal testing, unneccessary pollution, religion used as a control mechanism, the fur trade, wanton selfishness, materialism, backstabbing, approaching relationships like a 14 year old if you are past the 8th grade, pointless waste and powerful people using the weak for personal gain. I wake up everyday and can't wait to see how I'll change the world today! There's the girly side that adores pink, wears flowers, squeals with delight at the sight of adorable animals, can't get enough of babies, and can spend a whole afternoon happily baking vegan cupcakes; the activist side that is enthusiastic about recycling, ecology, saving animals, volunteering, veganism and organic/natural everything; the fun side that loves picnics, retro video games, silly old movies, spontaneous road trips and dancing the night away; and the loving side that adores my friends and family...and knows that's the most important thing!
