Vegan Passions

Active, outdoorsy vegan seeks same.

My name is Ren. I am a 22 year old vegan female from Fishkill area, NY. I am presently attending college to become a high school biology teacher. I am also a certified animal nutrition counselor and licensed wildlife rehabilitator. I am passionate about animals and share my home with numerous rescued companion animals. I also privately run a sanctuary for bettas and other fish as space and funding permits.

I enjoy spending time outdoors and am an avid hiker, kayaker, and camper. I also enjoy volunteering and have interned or volunteered for organizations such as Farm Sanctuary and Best Friends Animal Society. I am seeking friends (either gender) or a companion (male) with similar interests. An active and enthusiastic hiking or volunteering buddy would be fantastic.

In addition to spending time outdoors and with animals, I enjoy music, literature, writing, history, and art. I am particularly enthusiastic about writing and write primarily fiction and educational materials. I would love to network with other aspiring authors to share and review work.

As an important side note, I would prefer if those interested in meeting me not use illegal drugs, and drink responsibly, sparingly, or not at all. I am straight edge, and while I am not preachy about it, I am quite thoroughly tired of trying to connect with people who can't enjoy life without being drunk or high. So please, if you're looking for someone to party with, look elsewhere.
