Longing for belonging

*ME * Sensitive, sweet and compassionate. Thinking a lot about why things tend to be the way they are. Sometimes overwhelmed by the self-centered words and actions of people. Always trying to be respectful towards all living creatures and compassionate towards their needs. At times too big hearted and disappointed when others don't show the same level of empathy but never giving up trying to be the best person I can be. Working as a special educator with children with various disabilities: their smiling faces are the best reward. Recently returned home from working as a volunteer with underprivileged African children. Fond of road trips and admiring the wonders of nature while hiking through beautiful landscapes and camping under the starlit sky. Just as easily enjoy a stroll in the woods or walk on the beach preferably with someone I deeply care about. Love: music(punk / HC / alternative / postrock / ambient) - kindhearted humans - observing animals - deserts - rainforests - lakes - sunrises & sunsets - stargazing - skin to skin - smiling & returning smiles - singing out of key - sleeping & dreaming - being funny in an intelligent way - giving & receiving unexpected cuddles and kisses ----- *YOU* A tender and caring guy who sincerely is my best friend. To learn from and exchange ideas and perceptions with. Who wants to make me as happy as I'd like to make him and isn't afraid to show affection. A kindred spirit to experience mutual interests with and enjoy all those little things that money could never afford. Not exactly like me but complementing me and willing to share life's challenges. Able to make me smile and laugh. A hand to hold, shoulder to lean on, body to snuggle up to and heart to melt into. I'd go to the other end of the world to find him because I won't settle for second best just for the sake of having a relationship.
